Dronetag Scout Remote ID receiver is deployed at New Mexico Tech's Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center (EMRTC) training site in Socorro, New Mexico. The receiver monitors Remote ID broadcasts from drones operating in the surrounding airspace, providing a live detection capability used in EMRTC's UAS training courses, including the DART program. During classes, instructors use the Scout and RIDER system to run active detection demonstrations, giving students a clear, hands-on understanding of how Remote ID works and how drone activity can be detected in real time. This showcase reflects a collaboration between New Mexico Tech, AVIAN, and Dronetag to integrate live Remote ID detection into counter-UAS education and outdoor training exercises.
Between Feb 25, 2026 and Jun 15, 2026 this installation detected 198 flights from 65 unique drones over 74 active days.
